From the Pathfinder Program for new Scouts to the new Camp V-Bar Challenge for older Scouts, Camp V-Bar presents an a action-packed program designed to provide exciting experiences and adventures for Scouts of all ages. Camp V-Bar also boasts an extensive merit badge program taught by a knowledgeable staff using immersive experiences and instruction. Additionally, the more than 1,400 acres comprising Salmen Scout Reservation allows for hiking, fishing, boating, and other activities to encounter nature on a grand scale. Finally, from the first class Target and Range Activities area to the inground pool and 45-acre lake waterfront to a Dining Hall with the best food in the south, the facilities at Camp V-Bar provide a quality experience for Scouts and leaders to enjoy a week at one of the most fun camps in the country!

Effective September 1, 2023, the National Boy Scouts of America established policy requiring all adults staying overnight in connection with a Scouting activity must be currently registered as an adult volunteer or an adult program participant. Adult volunteers must register in the position(s) they are serving in. Registration as a merit badge counselor position does not meet this requirement.
