The Southeast Louisiana Council of Scouting America delivers the Scouting program to over 3,000  youth in Southeast Louisiana. Scouting builds character and confidence, two essential factors that help young people make the right choices no matter the situation. Kids who participate in activities that build confidence are more likely to stick to their values when tested by difficult decisions. In Scouting we call our activities things like camping, aquatics, and merit badges. But what these activities actually represent are leadership training, confidence building, and life experience.

To give our kids the best Scouting program this year we need your help. Please consider participating in the 2024 SELA Golf Classic to support local Scouting. Your participation will support volunteers, provide new opportunities for kids to join Scouting, and ensure that our Scouts build character and confidence through wholesome experiences.
